Hal Roach: orig. Harold Eugene Roach born Jan. 14, 1892, Elmira, N.Y., U.S. died Nov. 2, 1992, Bel Air, Calif. U.S. film producer. He tried gold prospecting before becoming a bit player in Hollywood (1912).
