English - English
An unusually low sale price, typically offered by a retailer on a limited number of items for a limited time, often on prominent shopping days, such as the day after Thanksgiving in the US
A doorbuster is a very low-priced, or even free, item designed to draw people into a sale, such as during Black Friday. As such, items being sold at a loss to the retailer are common during doorbuster events. The term is generally used in conjunction with short and much better sales that occur during the beginning hours of a longer sale, sometimes called an "early bird" sale. It is common for individuals to line up several hours prior to a doorbuster event, because demand may be high and/or supply may be low
