(Askeri) KONİK PROJEKSİYON: Harita yapma usulü. Bu usulde, tepesi, Arzın uzatılmış ekseni üzerinde bulunan mevhum bir koninin yan yüzeyi üzerine, Arz üzerindeki noktaların iz düşümleri getirilir. Bu mevhum koninin tabanı, haritası alınmak istenen sahanın kuzey güney hattı orta noktasına temas ettirilir. İzleri düşen enlem daireleri, koninin dairesine paralel daireler, boylam daireleri ise koninin tepesinden tabanı içerisine indirilen düz hatlar şeklinde görülür
