The Demand side is a term used in economics to refer to a number of things: a.) The demand element of a supply and demand partial equilibrium diagram, in microeconomics. b.) Demand-side learning referring to the incentive to learn how to use and modify free software as opposed to buying conventional software. e.) The term is also used broadly to distinguish supply-side economics from other schools, for instance Keynesian economics
