grey market: (Pazarlama) Gri piyasa, marka hakkı sahibi veya onun izniyle bir başkası tarafından, ülke dışında piyasaya sunulan ve üçüncü kişiler tarafından ülkeye ithal edilen markalı özgün malların, daha önce marka sahibi tarafından veya onun izniyle üçüncü kişi tarafından, ülke içinde piyasaya sunulan markalı mallardan farklı olması durumunda söz konusu olur. Örneğin, Türkiye´ deki X markasının sahibi bu marka altında Türkiye´ de üretip piyasaya sunduğu bilgisayarlarda Türkçe karakter seti, aynı marka altında Almanya´ da piyasaya sunduğu bilgisayarlarda Almanca karakter seti kullanmışsa bu iki bilgisayarın aynı mal olduğu söylenemez. Marka sahibinin Almanya’da piyasaya sunduğu bilgisayarın Türkiye´ ye ithali gri piyasaya yol açacaktır
