An NSAID, isobutylphenyl propionic acid
a medicine that reduces pain, inflammation, and fever (iso- + butyl type of chemical (19-21 centuries) + propionic describing a type of chemical (19-21 centuries) + phenyl type of chemical (19-21 centuries)). Analgesic, one of the NSAIDs, especially effective against minor pain, fever, and inflammation. It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
