A property of a set of random variables where each variable has the same finite variance
(İstatistik) In statistics, a sequence or a vector of random variables is homoscedastic if all random variables in the sequence or vector have the same finite variance. This is also known as homogeneity of variance. The complement is called heteroscedasticity. (Note: The alternative spelling homo- or heteroskedasticity is equally correct and is also used frequently.) As described by Joshua Isaac Walters, "the assumption of homoscedasticity simplifies mathematical and computational treatment and usually leads to adequate estimation results (e.g. in data mining) even if the assumption is not true."
Time-independent variance The GARCH Toolbox also refers to homoscedasticity as constant conditional variance
The residuals are the same for all estimated values of the dependent variable
In regression analysis it is the condition of constant variance
residuals that are evenly and randomly scattered along the regression line; cylindrical or tube shapes scatter plot
A type of relationship between two variables, when the variance of Y is the same for all values of X and reciprocally
Same scatter " A scatterplot or residual plot shows homoscedasticity if the scatter in vertical slices through the plot does not depend much on where you take the slice C f heteroscedasticity
"Same scatter " A scatterplot or residual plot shows homoscedasticity if the scatter in vertical slices through the plot doesn't depend much on where you take the slice C f heteroscedasticity

Having the same finite variance for all elements
