Reggae (okunuşu; Rege), Jamaika'ya özgü bir müzik türü. Reggae, genel olarak ska, dub ve ragga gibi Jamaika'ya özgü tüm müzik türlerini tanımlamak için kullanılır. 1960'larda Jamaika'da ska ve rocksteady müziklerinden esinlenilerek doğmuştur. Temposu ska ve rocksteadye göre daha yavaştır. Özellikle roots reggae türü rastafarianizm ile içiçedir. İnanç, aşk, barış, yoksulluk, eşitsizlikler gibi temalar barındırır. 1970'lerden itibaren dünyada popülarite kazanmıştır. Efsanevi sanatçı Bob Marley reggaenin dünya çapında tanınmasını sağlamıştır. Shaggy müziğiyle türün tanınmasına büyük katkı yaptı.Son yıllarda Sean Paul,Kevin Little ve Kid Kurup reggae'nin tanınmasında büyük rol oynadı.Zamanla raple karışarak hızlı bir ritime sahip olmuştur ve Hip hop reggae ortaya çıkmıştır, rege, reggie,
